Hi
I'm experiencing some troubles when syncing files from a PC to the FTP account. Preview shows many "FTP Error 425 Failed to create socket" so, it doesn´t compares such folders and files and then it doesn't sync those files. It doesn't happen with all files but with some of them. So I can't find a pattern o logical cause of this problem. I've tried many things like not procesing paralell synchronization option, changing to another FTP Server, but nothing happens. I need some help. I'm using BestSync 2014 - Ultimate License

The 425 error was the response from the server, it means the server can not connect to the client PC.
Please check if you have set the passive mode in the advanced setting when browsing the FTP folder.
And please check if you have setup the firewall setting correctly. Please refer to the following Q&A:

It connects correctly to FTP server because doing a preview most files are attempted to be syncronized but in the same preview it shows some files whit that error message and usually are the same files while others has no problem in the same syncronization as you can see in the example attached where some files are correctly compared then some files or folders with ftp error message and then files correctly compared again and so on

At the bottom of the preview window, there log lines "425 Failed to create socket".
Because the error happened at the server end, please contact the developer of the server to see if they can give you any help.

Thanks. But as I said, it happens with different FTP servers like FileZilla server, Windows FTPServer, Linux Server. Could you give me any advice about what to check? because I've already checked what is in the FTP configuration tutorial

FTP protocol needs to establish a data connection when listing files in a sub-folder, and the data connection may use any port available.
If the port is not allowed by the firewall in server or client, then the connection is blocked, that causes "425 Failed to create socket".

Please check the firewall setting in the server side and client side, check following points:
How to set the firewall setting for FTP transfer?
1. Add BestSyncApp.exe and BestSyncSvc.exe to the exception list of the firewall.
2. Add Port 21 to the exception list of the firewall.
If passive mode is used:
1. In FTP server side, set the port range used for the data channel.
2. Add this port rang to the exception list of the firewall of the FTP server.
3. Add this port rang to the exception list of the firewall of the client (where BestSync is installed).
If Active mode is used:
1. Set the port range in “Option”/”Active Mode” of BestSync.
2. Add this port rang to the exception list of the firewall of the FTP server.
3. Add this port rang to the exception list of the firewall of the client (where BestSync is installed).
