Is there an option to keep SFTP connections open between syncs? I am running into a problem where our server is banning our machines from syncing because of the frequency of the connections. Keeping the SFTP connection open would solve that problem.

BestSync starts the connection when the synchronization starts and disconnect the connection when the task ends.
Does the task use real-time sync in the schedule setting, if so, please do not use real-time option, use the periodic schedule that you can set a longer period.

I am not using the real-time sync setting.

I need to have a short period between syncs because I need the files to be synchronized very quickly.

So I take it there is no way to force BestSync to keep the connection open and reuse it instead of closing the connection at the end of the task?

Yes, the task is managed independently. It must be closed after synchronization.
May be you need to ask your server manager to allow the frequent connection.
