google drive folder duplicates

Hello,

Recently in my google drive sync within "my drive" the folders have duplicated and folders like

syncdata
syncdata (1)
syncdata (2)

have been created (not by me).

where syncdata and syncdata (2) contain single folders from syndata (1)

I think this happened after I synced this morning, but I cannot tell if it's google that is confusing bestsync, or the other way around.

This has made the sync unstable and unusable.

Any advice?

By the way, I have upgraded to 2015; problem persists.

Furthermore, bestsync is now deleting files that shouldn't be deleted. What is going on here?!?!

Because the protocol of Google Drive has been changed a little, we are fixing this problem.

Thank you for the information. For now I will try to switch to onedrive. Please keep me updated on this functionality.

I will try this. But because google was not working I tried onedrive.

With onedrive the time stamps seem problematic. I synced from local => onedrive and it put all new timestamps (today's) in the cloud version. This will obviously cause problems. Could you advise on this?

Cloud Drives usually do not allow modify the timestamp, so when a file is uploaded to a cloud drive, the timestamp is the time when the file is uploaded. BestSync can synchronize files with cloud drive by tracking the timestamp.
