I have purchased the ultimate 64bit version. I have 35 GB that need to go to an empty FTP folder.
During the process of the first time sync, I deleted some files and moved others on my local machine. THOSE CHANGES ARE NOT RECOGNIZED by BestSync. I am forced to start the whole process over again.
QUESTION: What precautions should I take to ensure that I end up with a trustworthy situation?
Apparently I should not delete or move anything until the process has finished.
What about modifying a file? Can I modify a file during the first time synchronization?
Anything else I should be aware of before starting this (for me) 96 hour operation?
Thank you!

If you are to sync many files with FTP server, you can follow the below steps to prepare for the first time sync:
1. Use the "preview - synchronize time stamp only" menu to sync the timestamp once for the files that have same size but the timestamp is different.
2. Use "Preview - mirror ...." Menu to sync the folder once.
Then next synchronizations will detect file moving, deleting etc correctly.
