Hi

my Best Sync 2008 Business License out of the sudden stopped working.
On starting the program I get this message:

ERROR
Invalid file setting
service.fsf

If i proceed and the program opens I see that it lost the whole task list and I have to reprogram all tasks.
After shutting down and turning on again, the same error appears, so it the error is permanent.
What can I do?

This is a known problem of BestSync 2008 (old version), please uninstall the old version. And install the newest version. The setting file service.fsf may have been crashed, please reconfigure the tasks , or rename from the backup file service.fsf~.

ok, thanks for the answer but if I uninstall the 2008 and install the latest version do I have to buy a new license for the 2011 version of Best Sync?

I just installed 2009 version because the 2011 had problems (program would not start and Windows showed an error message "BestSync stopped working")

It seems that now 2009 version is working.

Will let you know if there is any bad news, otherwise you can assume that everything worked out fine

Again a problem
I have set "run without user login" but BestSync does not do it.
I still have to login with any of the users (5 users in total)

I am now running the 2009 version.

What can I do?

please refer to the following QnA page about how to setup a task to run as Windows service, and synchronize with network drive.
