cannot detect server's timezone,use local time zone

hi,

from time to time, bestsync download the file with 0 bytes even though the file in source server is not 0 bytes.
I notice that every time this happen, the log shows cannot detect server's timezone , use localtime zone -480 minutes.

bestsync 2015 version 10.0.1.5 64 bit

how should I go about to resolve the issue?

Could you please try the newest version (BestSync 2017) to see if the problem can be resolved.

if I install the new version , will this erase my license as we are no under support?

0 bytes still occur after installing new version bestsync 2017 version 12.0.6 32bit

The license will remained after install the new version.
But the license of 2 major versions before will be downgraded one rank on the current major version.

This problem may be because BestSync is not very compatible with your SFTP server.
If you can send a test account to risefly@risefly.com, we'd like to debug with your SFTP server.

hi,
after our ftpserver site provider, grants a write privilege on the folder, we never encounter the problem cannot detect server timezone and all files are successfully downloaded. :D
