I have been running Bestsync 2010 with the Business License (upgraded from 2009 Premium to 2010 Business) for many years now but I now want to take advantage of Parallel Synchronisation.

I have been looking at the upgrade page and I assume I need to select the (2012 - i.e. 2010) Basic license to 2016 Ultimate option?

Also the email address I originally used to upgrade from 2009 Premium to Business license is no longer valid. Do I need to change this as part of the upgrade process now?

Yes, you need to order the following license to upgrade to the Ultimate License.
Upgrade from BestSync 2012 Basic License to BestSync 2016 Ultimate License
