If the jobs are deleted by mistake, you can find in the backup settings. Just rename the setting files backup then restart BestSync Service in the service manager. No one reported this kind of problem in the past years.
Please confirm it is "Run as Service" tab, not the "Running" tab.
May be the tasks were deleted by other program/or by mistake.

Just start the preview of the task, all the command and the response from the server is displayed in the log window under the preview windows.

What kind of file systems is the task synchronizing?
If it FTP etc, BestSync will hand-shake with the server and use the proper TLS/SSL protocol.

The option is still available.
It is "Verify file by the available method from the server or by comparing content." in the "Copy Options".
